About Storskarvia
The catch was always the writer's.
Storskarvia comes from storskarv, the great cormorant. The root skarv is shared across the Scandinavian languages and descends from Old Norse skarfr. It is the working bird that dives for the fish and brings it back to the boat. It does the hard retrieving. The catch belongs to the person who sent it down.

Storskarvia never writes a word for you.
Every other job on a writing staff — yes. The byline — never.
A staff, not a ghostwriter
Studios have researchers, fact-checkers, script supervisors, continuity editors — a whole desk of people who make the work better without taking the credit. Storskarvia is that desk, for writers who don't have one. The tools read, check, and remember; the prose stays yours.
The bright line, kept honest
Most AI writing tools blur the line between your words and the machine's. Storskarvia draws it in ink: the AI cannot write your prose. The checkers hand back a fixed structure of findings with no field a sentence could be written into, so when you are done, every word is yours.
Your work lives in your cloud
Your manuscript's home is your own storage, in plain formats you can open anywhere, forever. Storskarvia keeps only a working copy for its checks. You are never locked into us to read your own book.
An Aristocratix project
Storskarvia is built by Aristocratix, a small studio making tools and works with care. It's made for writers first — the friends who needed it, and everyone writing seriously without a staff behind them.
